What Is Mobile Patrol Security?

Mobile patrol security means a uniformed guard visits your site in a patrol car at varied times, instead of staying on site for the whole shift. Each visit is a full check of the property: doors, gates, fences and parking areas are checked, the site is left locked up, and the visit is proved by a checkpoint scan.

Eagle Eye Security runs mobile patrol security for strata complexes, commercial complexes, warehouses, construction sites, parking lots and offices across Surrey and the Lower Mainland. Patrol work is also our focus outside the Lower Mainland, for sites that need regular checks without a guard on site at all hours.

Some sites need mobile security patrols every night. Others need them on weekends only, or while a building sits empty. The number of visits and the times are set around your site, and the times are varied on purpose, so nobody can learn the pattern of when a guard will arrive.

Great job at protecting and guards actually care about their job unlike other companies e.g Paladin Security who just hang out with their other co-workers and have fun. Eagle Eye’s guards are professionals who excel in keeping everybody safe and sound. If I could give 6 stars, I definitely would.

Eagle Eye installed my video monitoring system. They took the time research my property to come up with the best system based on my budget. Varun and Rangot from Eagle Eye were very courteous and professional. They took time to explain how the system works in very easy terms. It was a pleasure to have them in my home.

What Happens on a Patrol Visit

Every security patrol follows the checks agreed with you when cover starts. On a standard visit, the guard covers the following.

Checks around the site

The guard checks doors, gates, fences, loading bays and parking areas, looking for damage, signs of a break in, trespassing and anything left open that should be shut.

Checkpoint proof

Checkpoint points are placed around your site. The guard scans each point during the visit, and every scan records that the guard was there and when. That record is your proof that the visit happened and the checks were made.

Lock up

The guard leaves the site locked up and secure. We hold your keys so the guard can carry out the checks and lock up properly, and there are no key holding charges.

Live reporting

You get live reporting from the site as the checks happen, so you can see the visit times, the checkpoint records and anything the guard found, while the patrol is still running.

If the guard finds damage, an open door or someone on the site who should not be there, it is reported to our dispatch straight away. You hear about it fast, and a written report follows.

Sites Our Patrol Visits Cover

Mobile patrol security suits any site that is locked up for part of the day or night and needs a guard to check it while it is empty. These are the sites our patrol guards visit most.

Strata complexes

A residential property made up of individual homes or units with shared common property. A patrol guard visits the complex and checks the grounds, parking areas and shared buildings.

Commercial complexes

A property shared by a number of businesses. A patrol guard visits the property and checks the doors, gates and parking areas.

Malls and shopping centres

A shopping centre with a number of shops in one property. A patrol guard visits the centre after closing and checks the entrances and parking areas.

Warehouses and industrial yards

Storage and work yards with gates, loading bays and goods kept on site. A patrol guard visits the yard and checks the gates, fences and loading bays.

Construction sites

A property where building work is under way, with tools, materials and equipment on site. A patrol guard visits the site and checks the fencing, gates and storage areas.

Parking lots and parkades

An area set aside for parking vehicles, open air or in a parkade structure. A patrol guard visits the lot and checks the parking areas and entrances.

Offices and business parks

Buildings where staff work during the day and the property sits empty at night. A patrol guard visits the building and checks the doors and grounds.

Vacant properties

A building or property with nobody in it for a period of time. A patrol guard visits the property and checks that it is still secure.

If your site is not on this list, call us. What needs checking matters more than what the site is called.

Mobile Patrol or a Static Guard?

Patrol visits suit sites that are locked up and quiet for long stretches. A patrol guard visits at varied times, checks the doors, gates and grounds, proves the visit with a checkpoint scan, and reports what is found. The site gets a real guard checking it through the night, without a guard posted there at all hours.

A static security guard stays at your site for the whole shift. That suits sites with steady movement and steady risk: an open gate, goods on site, or people coming and going at all hours. Many clients use both: patrol visits at the quieter sites and a static guard at the busy one.

Not sure which fits? Tell us what has been happening at your site and we will tell you straight which level of cover makes sense.

Mobile patrol security is a service where a uniformed guard visits your site in a patrol car at varied times and checks the property, instead of staying on site for the whole shift. The guard checks doors, gates, fences and parking areas, leaves the site locked up, and proves the visit with a checkpoint scan.

That is set with you when cover starts. Some sites get visits every night, some get more than one visit in a night, and some get weekend visits only. The times are varied on purpose, so the pattern of visits cannot be predicted.

Each visit is proved two ways. The guard scans the checkpoint points placed around your site, and every scan records that the guard was there and when. You also get live reporting from the site as the checks happen, with the visit times, the checkpoint records and anything the guard found.

There are no key holding charges. We hold your keys so the patrol guard can carry out the checks and lock the site up properly, and holding them costs you nothing extra.

The guard reports it to our dispatch straight away. If damage is found, a door is open or someone is on the site who should not be there, you hear about it fast, and a written report follows.

Yes. Visits can cover a single night, a holiday period, or the time a building sits empty, as well as ongoing contracts. There is no minimum number of hours. Tell us the dates and we will let you know if we can cover them.

Your site is checked by a real guard through the night, at times nobody can predict, without paying for a guard to stay there for the whole shift. It suits sites that are locked up and quiet for long stretches, such as strata complexes, warehouses, construction sites and vacant buildings.

It depends on how many visits your site needs, when they happen, and what the guard checks on each visit. One visit a night costs less than several visits a night across a large site. Tell us about your site and we will send a written quote with the rate and what is included, before you agree to anything. There are no key holding charges.
